Founded in 2012, Seasons Property Maintenance is dedicated to high-quality property maintenance services. The company and its team of employees provide property maintenance services including lawn care, snow removal, painting, cleaning, and hauling. Seasons Property Maintenance services residential and rental properties in the Twin Cities.
Minneapolis native and business owner Frank Oliver started working for the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board when he was 14 years old. As he moved from job to job, one thing remained consistent—the work he did revolved around his passion and interest in lawn care and maintenance.
At just 25 years old, Frank is younger than most business owners in his industry. He has a point to prove—that you can start a business at any age. You don’t have to be established, from a specific background or a certain age to do it.
With Frank’s leadership, Seasons Property Maintenance provides a high-touch approach to property services. Clients get to know Frank and his team and the quality work they provide. He believes in building relationships with clients and getting to know and understand their needs. Seasons Property Maintenance provides the A-1 quality service that meets and exceeds their clients’ expectations.
The staff at the Northside Economic Opportunity Network (NEON) are Frank’s go-to people for business advice and guidance. When he came to NEON, he lacked the accounting and bookkeeping skills necessary to run his business. NEON quickly identified this improvement area and encouraged him to enroll in accounting and bookkeeping courses. Each NEON employee has his or her area of expertise—from business advice to mentorship to technical assistance—and they are available to help him find answers and get the assistance he needs.
In 2015, Seasons Property Maintenance serviced almost 100 properties a week. That’s double the number of properties serviced just one year before. Frank has plans to take his business to the next level. Seasons Property Maintenance is on track to secure 125-150 properties per week in 2016. Beyond 2016, Frank will create additional businesses under one entity. His future business interests include construction and carpentry.
Aside from the freedom and flexibility of owning his own business, Frank values his ability to mentor other people who want to start their own property maintenance company. He takes great pride in being able to offer advice and answer questions. Frank believes entrepreneurship is a constant learning experience, and everything you learn can become the advice you give to others.
